Sweepstakes open only to persons who are legal U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility to its satisfaction, and shall be the sole judge as to whether an entrant is eligible for this promotion. Void where prohibited.

•   HOW TO ENTER: The Canada Ski Experience of a Lifetime Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") will start at 12:00 AM ET September 1, 2007 and end at 11:59 PM ET May 1, 2008, (the "promotional period").  The Sweepstakes will be promoted via consumer advertising directing individuals to enter the promotion by going online and visiting www.canada.travel/win, or www.canada.travel/skinow.  Once you gain access to the website, you will be prompted to certify that you are at least 21 years old, that you are eligible to enter in the Sweepstakes and that you have read the Official rules. You will then be required to  complete an online entry form by entering your first and last name, complete address, phone number, email address and a password, and click on "Submit".  If you are already a registered user, simply enter your email address and your password and click on "Submit".  You will be invited to subscribe to newsletters for automatic e-mail updates and information about tourism in Canada and to order different travel guides. Then click on "Next".  You will be invited to provide information to help us tailor our communications with you and choose your travel guides. These subscriptions and the questionnaire are optional and have no implication on the Sweepstakes. After your selection, if any, click on "Submit" and you will then be entered in the Sweepstakes.  Limit: one entry per person for the promotion period. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged.

•   RANDOM DRAWING:  The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about June 20, 2008, from among all eligible entries received, under the supervision of Marden-Kane, Inc., an independent judging organization, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.   Odds of winning a prize are based on number of eligible entries received.

•   PRIZE: (1) Grand Prize: a 12 night/13 day ski vacation for winner and up to five (5) guests.  The Ski vacation includes the following for the winner and up to 5 guests: round-trip airfare (economy class) from the Air Canada U.S. gateway airport nearest the winner's home in the U.S. to a destination in Canada, airfare (economy class) between ski resorts within Canada only, 12 consecutive nights hotel accommodations (standard room, double occupancy) at three ski resorts (one in Québec, one in Alberta and one in British Columbia), ski lift passes for 9 days, and transportation between each airport/hotel/airport.  Ski resorts will be drawn at random at same time as winner amongst all participating in the CTC US ski marketing program.  Approximate retail value $21,650 USD. As part of the Grand prize Sponsor may elect to have a journalist/and or videographer/ photographer accompany the Grand Prize winner and guests to document the Ski trip for future use at Sponsors sole discretion. Travel companions must be 21 years of age or older at time of travel, or the minor child of the winner/winners guests. The Grand Prize winner and all travel companions are responsible for providing proper documentation for international travel from the U.S. to Canada. Winner and all travel companions must travel on the same itinerary, departing and returning to the same location. No frequent flyer air miles will be awarded as part of the trip. Trip requires 5 weeks advance notice for booking and must be completed by April 30, 2009. Trip is subject to availability; certain restrictions, blackout dates and Canadian holidays may apply. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable at promotions end. The Grand Prize winner is responsible for all applicable local, state and federal taxes and all other expenses not specified herein as being part of the prize award; such as, any activities not listed, meals, alcohol, and gratuities, etc. Actual value of prize may vary based on winner's point of departure and arrival, dates of travel, and air fares at time of booking.

•   GENERAL CONDITIONS: Grand Prize will be awarded and is not transferable. The potential winner will be notified via mail/telephone/email and will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and travel release (travel release must also be signed by each travel companion), which must be completed and returned within 14 days or an alternate winner, will be selected from among all eligible entries received.  Promotion subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to Canada Tourism Commission and its agencies to the use of the winners name, city and state of residence, likeness and/or photograph for promotional purposes online and off-line without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting a prize, winner agrees to hold Canada Tourism Commission, Skican Ltd., the participating resorts and their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns, harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of the use of the prize. The Grand prize winner and all of his/her travel companions assume all liability for any injury, loss or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize awarded or activity related hereto.  Canadian Tourism Commission, Skican Ltd., the participating resorts and their respective, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents (collectively, "Releasees") are not responsible for printing errors; inaccurate, forged, incomplete, stolen, lost, illegible, mutilated, tampered with, postage-due, misdirected, delayed or late entries; each of which will be disqualified. By participating in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges.

•   INTERNET: Releases and any Internet access or service providers are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of entry information, human or other error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, inability to access Web sites, or damage to a user's computer system (hardware or software) due to participation in this Sweepstakes.  If judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual electronic tampering with the sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes or if any non-compliance with the rules has occurred, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate the sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the Grand Prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received in the applicable drawing pool as of the promotion end date. If the sweepstakes is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its end date, notice will be posted at www.canada.travel/win. Any attempt to deliberately damage the content or operation of this sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action by the Sponsor or its agents. Entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. The “authorized account” holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any online entries submitted by automated means, or third-party, will be disqualified. Entries will not be valid until received by Sponsor.

•   ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open only to persons who are legal U.S. residents, 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor; its subsidiary or affiliated organizations; or the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them, including Marden-Kane, Inc., and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter sweepstakes.
